Olivia and Chris's story technically began in 2014. When Olivia's mom, Angela was working part time at Dick's Sporting Goods-Chris began working there not long after. After getting to know Chris, Angela had the idea to introduce him to her daughter Olivia. (Olivia was away at college and worked at Dick's as well when she was home for winter and summer break) Angela gave Chris Olivia's number and they began texting. They officially met when Olivia returned to work during winter break of 2014. Olivia and Chris hit off right away and spent nearly everyday together until Olivia went back to school. Olivia decided to break things off when she returned to school. She had a lot of growing up to do and did not realize the mistake she had made at the time. But Chris never gave up. Fast forward to summer of 2019. Olivia had just moved back home from the city and began a management position at the same Dick's Sporting Goods. Not knowing at first, that Chris had gone back to work there as well. They became close again not long after Olivia started working. They were both invited to a co workers BBQ. Olivia was nervous because she knew Chris would be there, and this would be their first time outside of work hanging out since she had left in 2014. Once there, they both built up the liquid courage to go have that conversation. (long story short) Chris told Olivia that he still loved her and Olivia realized she did as well. After they shared that to each other, Olivia threw up on her shoes right in front of Chris (lightweight problems) and that sealed their fate. Since then they have had many adventures including going to Colorado, selling and purchasing a home, attending many weddings, and many Yankee games, and adopting a kitten (Olive) and later a puppy (Barley) together. They are proud parents to their six fur babies: Roo, Barley, Coco, Luna, Olive and Willow. Fast forward to New Years Eve 2023- Olivia and Chris are out to dinner at one of their favorite places, Garvans with two of their closest friends Megan and Nikki. Olivia had no idea that this night would change her life forever. Once dinner was cleared, Olivia was chatting away with Megan and Nikki and the next thing she knew- she looked over and Chris was on one knee in the middle of the restaurant holding her dream ring. He was so nervous and red (it really was so hot in the room). But he asked Olivia to marry him, she was in complete shock because she had no idea. Of course she said yes!
